How to Fix Stiff uPVC Window Hinges
Follow the simple steps below to locate the friction stay on your uPVC window and to adjust the screw in the right way.

Step 1
First, you will need to open up your window till you can see and access your uPVC windows hinges.

Then you will need to locate your friction screw on your hinge.

Step 3
Once located with your screwdriver tighten the friction hinge very slightly make sure to the same amount of adjustment on the opposite hinge it doesn’t have to be exact.
