First, you will need to open your window and keep your window handle in the open position.

Remove the screw caps from the handle using a thin and narrow object, for example, a flat-headed screwdriver or a butter knife.

Once removed unscrew the top and bottom screws of your handle. While you are removing you will need to keep hold of the handle in case it falls as you don’t want the handle to break further or fall and hurt you.

When you have removed the handle, take your new handle and make sure that you move this to the same position that you took the old handle off, in the open position.

Place the new handles spindle into the same hole as the old one was in.

Proceed by holding the handle in place and screwing the new screws in.
