How to Fix Loose Window Handle (uPVC)

Usually, loose screws on the base plate are the cause of this. Due to frequent use, the screws holding the handle to the window frame have fallen away.

How to Fix a uPVC Loose Window Handle
Follow the steps below to tighten your loose window handle.
There are two screws that hold the handle in place at the top and bottom of the handle. These are usually covered by plastic caps.
To remove the caps, prise them off carefully with a suitable tool or a fingernail.
You will need to raise the handle into the open position to reach the bottom screw. Replace caps after tightening.

Step 1
Remove the screw head cap from the top screw.

Step 2
Tighten the top screw.

Step 3
Lift the handle and remove the bottom screw head cap.

Step 4
Tighten the bottom screw.

Step 5
Replace caps and you are all done.
